About Us

Hi! My name is Dave. I started CapeMadness back in 2007, and before it was CapeMadness, I was building a temple (proof below) and needed a toga for my minifig to satisfy my curiosity. 

I looked everywhere for this toga, but nothing was found. So, I started to figure out how to make the cloth Lego uses to make capes. 

1.5 Years Later (and many miss attempts)

I came up with a nice way to make stiffened capes.

Now, years later with fifty some odd colors, 135 different developed shapes, and many more prints CapeMadness is going strong! I'm happy to work custom projects and have experience with many different vendors and custom mini fig companies, feel free to reach out if you have any questions about us or our capes!
